Nursing student files complaint against Instagram bully-Telangana Today

Resenting the applicant for rejecting his proposal, Vijay started harassing her.

Hyderabad: A nursing student turned to the police and filed a complaint against a young man who allegedly stalked her on Instagram.

The applicant, who is studying for a bachelor’s degree in nursing at a private college, claimed that the suspect Ch. Vijay became a friend on Instagram and the two have had casual conversations ever since. However, he recently proposed to her, but she refused.

According to the police, feeling resentful of the complainant for rejecting his proposal, Vijay started harassing her. He threatened to release her private photos and videos and embarrass her and her family members.

She told the police that Vijay once sexually assaulted her when she was returning from college and threatened to inject her with HIV, thereby infecting her with the dreaded disease. He insulted and attacked her several times.

On November 15, Vijay came to the complainant’s home, created trouble and threatened her family members. She claimed that her life and the lives of her family were in danger and asked the police to protect her and take action against the perpetrator.

Unable to withstand further harassment, she approached Hayatnagar police and filed a complaint with the help of her family members.

Hayatnagar police are investigating. It is learned that a case was registered against Vijay earlier at the Nagarjuna Sagar police station. Measures are being taken to arrest the suspect as soon as possible.
