Reasons why Cincinnati can beat Los Angeles

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton (81) throws a pass as Baltimore Ravens defensive end Brandon Stevens (21) covers him during the fourth quarter of an NFL game at M&T Banks Stadium in Baltimore, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

After converting every one-possession game in the NFL this season, the Bengals would go 8-2 in the AFC, which would be four games better than their current record. Cincinnati came very close in the league, losing 1 to Kansas City in Week 2, 5 to Washington in Week 3, 3 to Baltimore in Week 5 and 1 to Baltimore last week. All of those games combined for at least 51 points.

The Chargers haven’t scored more than 44 points this season, in part because of the league’s lowest points allowed. Los Angeles has also yet to score 30 points in a game, as their 27 points in both of the last two weeks is a season high. Cincinnati has passed this mark five times.
