Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Durk pleaded not guilty Thursday in a Los Angeles court to federal charges related to an alleged murder-for-hire plot against fellow rapper Quando Rondo. In September 2022, Quando was shot in his car in Los Angeles, and his cousin was killed in the shooting. Durk was arrested on October 24 in Miami and recently extradited to Los Angeles. US Attorneys have charged the Chicago rapper with two additional charges: one count of using interstate facilities to commit a contract killing resulting in death. He was also charged with one count each of using, carrying and discharging a firearm and assault rifle, and possession of such firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.
