Louisiana State Police are investigating a homicide in the Richland area

RAYVILLE, La. (KNOE) – On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:25 a.m., the Rayville Police Department (RPD) requested the Louisiana State Police/CID/Monroe Detective Field Office (LSP MFO) to investigate a homicide that occurred within the city limits of Rayville.

According to LSP, during the investigation, it was established that the shooting happened near the intersection of Madeline and Scott streets. As a result of the shooting, one subject died.
