‘Dangerous’ dogs are wanted by Wat-upon-Dirne police after an attack

Law enforcement officers are looking for the owner of two “dangerous” dogs that were out walking, one of which tried to bite a person and the other a dog.

The animals, described by South Yorkshire Police as bulls, approached a man walking his dog in a field behind properties on Avenue Road in Wath Apon Dearne, Rotherham, on Wednesday, November 6.

One of the dogs, described as white and large with brown spots, tried to bite the man and his pet, police said.

Police said they want to trace the owner of the dogs or anyone who knew the whereabouts of the animals following the incident.
