NYPD: Driver flees after three-car crash on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK. Police say a driver fled the scene of a three-car crash Friday night in Port Richmond.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. on Post Avenue near its intersection with Cortlandt Street and Jewett Avenue, a spokesman for the NYPD’s Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information said.

The driver of one car, which a spokesman said was eastbound on Post Avenue, fled the scene after the crash, and the people in the other two cars suffered minor injuries, the police department said.
