Bradley Walsh’s wife Donna Derby looks unrecognizable in a flamboyant late 80s music video.

Donna, a choreographer and former professional dancer, rose to fame in the late 1980s when she was chosen to star in Robert Palmer’s music video for his 1988 hit Simply Irresistible.

Donna backed rock star Robert Palmer in the 1988 hit, which caused quite a stir upon its release, wearing a skin-tight dress and a slick of deep red lipstick.

Donna’s illustrious dance career saw her grace the stage on The Russ Abbott Show in 1987, and she shone on the Kenny Everett TV Show from 1987 to 1988.

In recent years, Donna has shown her experience as a choreographer at the Miss World pageant, meaning she already achieved fame before she met her current husband, Bradley, in 1992.

The couple married in 1997 and have a 25-year-old son, Barney.

During an appearance on The One Show in 2023, Bradley revealed that his famous friend Brian Conley played matchmaker and introduced him to Donna.

Brian, who played the role of Rocky Cotton in the EastEnders was Bradley’s neighbor in Watford from 2021 to 2023.

Bradley recalled how Brian helped him meet Donna, saying, “He introduced me to my wife. She was a dancer on commercial television and worked on one of Brian’s shows.

“We were walking around the old London TV studios at the weekend and he was having a cup of tea in the green room and I said I was going to Somerset.”

As Donna passed by, Brian took the opportunity to introduce them. “He said it was Donna and that was it!”

In the early 2000s, it was his wife, Donna, who pushed him to join Coronation Streeta move that greatly accelerated his career trajectory.

Bradley has been open about his admiration for his wife, previously telling the Mirror: “I wouldn’t trade my girlfriend for anything. Donna is not just beautiful, she is the most fantastic wife and mother. It was thanks to her that I signed a contract with Coronation Street.

“It was her recognizing what it could do for me, even if it meant being apart.”

His stay at Corrie lasted from 2004 to 2006, after which he left at his request to explore new opportunities.

Bradley has since become a main character on British TV, hosting The Chase since 2009, where he reportedly earns a staggering £375,000 a week.

The Watford-born star also has a daughter, Hailey, from a previous relationship, and recently had the joy of becoming a grandfather when Hailey’s first child was born in 2021.
