Mike Tyson sparks health fears with dramatic sparring video ahead of Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson has released gruesome sparring footage that has some fans fearing for Jake Paul ahead of their highly-anticipated fight.

The former world heavyweight champion, 58, takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium on Nov. 15.

The fight was originally scheduled for July, but Tyson was given emergency medical care on the plane. During the “ulcer exacerbation,” Tyson felt nauseous and dizzy before paramedics later arrived on board.

But Tyson, once considered the “baddest man on the planet,” is training again for the rescheduled fight — his first sanctioned fight in two decades.

Earlier this week, the 58-year-old posted a short clip from his sparring sessions. In the video, you can see how Tyson supports his sparring partner on the rope.

The former heavyweight champion then lands a left hook that sends his opponent crashing to the canvas.

This prompts his trainer to stop sparring – much to the dismay of a pumped-up Tyson.

“Are you sure?” – shouts the 58-year-old. “I have a lot to do, I’m just getting started.”

Tyson is a big underdog against Paul, who is more than 30 years his junior. But the clip convinced some fight fans that Iron Mike could turn the odds.

“The passion in his voice tells me how much he wants it,” said one.

“Imagine a world where 58-year-old Mike Tyson knocks out Jake Paul. That would be beautiful,” added another.
