REVEALED: Travis Kelce’s traits that make Taylor Swift feel more protected than ‘anyone she’s ever known’

Taylor Swift reportedly feels an “extraordinary sense of peace” when she’s around boyfriend Travis Kelce.

After recently celebrating their one-year anniversary, the 34-year-old pop star is said to consider the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end her “protégé” after winning together last year.

“Just his physical presence. She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and she physically feels protected by him and she likes it. It’s relatively new for her in terms of relationships,” the source said Page six.

The insider continued: “People don’t really understand how brave Taylor is.”

Although the Grammy Award winner has enjoyed several career highs amid a whirlwind romance with a footballer, she has been able to rely on Kelce during the lows, including when her Eras Tour show in Vienna was revealed to be the target of a threatened terror attack attacks in August

“Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He’s going to make sure she’s physically and emotionally safe — he’s not going to do anything reckless or reckless with her,” the insider noted.

Another industry source told the publication that they are “obsessed with the potential wedding” of the couple, who they described as “unbeatable together.”

Due to security concerns, another insider said it’s unlikely fans will see Swift at any of Kelce’s road games this season.

“She won’t go anywhere unless she knows the venue well and it hasn’t been thoroughly scouted and secured beforehand,” Swift’s source said.

After she had to cancel her performances in Vienna, Swift shared in an Instagram post that the incident had “filled her with a new sense of dread” and “tremendous guilt”.

“Walking on stage in London has been a rollercoaster,” she wrote on Instagram after wrapping up the European leg of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in August.

The star then thanked the authorities for helping to take appropriate security measures.

She said: “I was also very grateful to the authorities, because thanks to them we mourned concerts, not lives.

“I was encouraged by the love and unity I saw in the fans who came together. I decided that all my energy needed to be channeled into helping to protect the nearly half a million people who had come to see the show in London.

“My team and I have worked hand in hand with the stadium staff and the British authorities every day to achieve this goal and I want to thank them for everything they have done for us.”

Taylor also explained why she had chosen to keep quiet about the circumstances until this point, and admitted that her priority was to finish the European leg of the tour safely.

She wrote: “Let me be clear: I’m not going to talk about anything in public if I think it might provoke those who want to harm the fans who come to my shows.”

“In cases like this, ‘silence’ really means showing restraint and waiting to speak out when it’s needed. My priority was to finish our European tour safely and I am very relieved to say that we have done that.”

Since going public with their relationship in September 2023 after she attended one of his games at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift and Kelsey have been pretty much inseparable.

In June, during an appearance on With the boys podcast, Kelsey said he “really” fell in love with Swift as soon as he saw “how genuine she is around friends, family.”

“It can be crazy for someone with that much attention and she just keeps it so cool and so cool. . . . She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me,” he said.

The tight ends went on to say that while they want to “keep everything under wraps,” they’re not hiding anything either.

“She’s my girlfriend, you know what I mean?” She’s my lady, so it’s like … I’m proud of it,” he said. “I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this a secret?’ You just don’t want to let everyone in on your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is making headlines.”

Considering they’re both bigwigs in their respective fields, Kelsey and Swift have dominated headlines since their romance first blossomed last year, with the loved-up couple drawing attention from around the world.

Even for Travis, considered by many to be the best tight end in NFL history, the increased attention that came with Taylor came as a major shock.

However, Kelsey says his girlfriend’s ability to stay down to earth despite her superstar status is what made him fall for her.

“She’s very self-aware, but at the same time… she’s very self-aware. She understands such situations, and I think that’s why I started to fall in love with her,” he explained.

As for the most amazing thing about meeting Swift, Kelsey continued, “(The paparazzi) is the craziest thing. Definitely the entrance to the house, just random, I don’t know…

“It’s a different demographic than the NFL, so it was cool to try it out and see the fans and stuff. It was fun because a lot more kids got into the game and Chiefs fans turned into a lot of Chiefs fans. And her fans turned into Chiefs fans, so I enjoyed every aspect of it.

“But when you’re at home, you want solitude, and you don’t always get it.”

Over the past year, the famous celebrity couple has been going from strength to strength; enjoying many trips and parties together, meeting families and supporting each other in their respective fields.

In September, Swift even thanked Kelsey in her VMAs speech when she took home the award for Video of the Year for the two weeks.

In her acceptance speech, Swift praised Kelsey for her support during the filming of the Fortnight music video.

“I could always just hear somebody cheering from the other side of the studio where we were shooting (the music video),” she said.

“And that person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this person touches turns into happiness, fun and magic, and I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that.”
