Amid the traffic chaos in Begaluru, the road accident caused quite a stir on social media. The event, which spread on the network, was recorded on a video recorder. The footage shows the car driver arguing with the scooter driver, momentarily blocking traffic. The dispute arose because the driver of the scooter, trying to drive between the car and the fence, scratched the car. The car driver could not stand it and, getting out of the car, began to abuse the cyclist. The situation became tense when the driver approached the scooter rider, who appeared to be about to attack. However, he did not start a physical fight.

User X shared a video offering his perspective on the incident. “In this case, the incident was caused by a rash rider, clearly guilty of poor spatial awareness. The rider did not seem to pay attention to his surroundings, carelessly moving in transport. However, the behavior of the i20 driver also raises questions. If a minor scratch on your car can cause this level of frustration, it may be wiser to stay off the roads or find alternative ways to deal with such situations,” the post said.

Both the public and local authorities took notice of the video as it went viral. In their comments on the widely shared video, the Bengaluru city police said they wanted more information about the scene.

The viral video has prompted people to question the behavior of drivers in the city.

User commented: “Why is a minor scratch acceptable? Shall I do it now in your car? Road rage is wrong, but only when it is unprovoked and the other party is not at fault. If not, then they are somehow obliged to pay.”

Another user commented that minor scratches “are not minor” when the car owner drives to the garage. The commentator went on to say that when the car owner gives the motorcyclist a small scratch, the driver reacts violently.

Meanwhile, a user noted: “While I can understand the car’s frustration, it was too aggressive.”

The publication received 82,000 views on social networks.
