Halifax Regional Police have charged a fourth person in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Devon Sinclair Marsman. 26-year-old Chelsea Herritt is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and desecration of human remains.

Halifax Regional Police have charged a fourth person in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Devon Sinclair Marsman.

Marsman was last seen on February 24, 2022 in the Spryfield area of ​​Halifax and was reported missing on March 4, 2022.

Police initially said there was no indication Marsman had met with foul play. But almost eight months later, police publicly said they were looking into it Marsman’s disappearance is suspicious.

Last month, police announced that his body had been found and that two people had been charged. A third person was charged later this month.

Saturday, police say a fourth person, 26-year-old Chelsea Herritt, turned herself in to police Thursday night. She was charged with complicity in murder and desecration of human remains after the fact.

Gerrit will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday.

Law enforcement officers claim that there are people who have information about the case, but have not communicated with the police. They encourage people to come forward.
