In Naples, a bus driver was attacked by a drunken passenger

The driver intervened, asking the man to stop and calm down, but at that moment the 43-year-old attacked with his hands and feet. The victim called 112. Carabinieri, who arrived at the scene, discovered that the car had stopped at number 120. Among the incredulous passengers was the attacker, a resident of Kasoria, already known to the authorities. The 43-year-old man did not calm down even in the presence of four police officers and thus started another fight. The man – with some difficulty – was restrained and taken to the Ospedale del Mare in a state of psychophysical agitation, without threat to life, and then arrested. The 37-year-old driver will need 5 days to recover from a concussive injury to his right elbow. For the carabiners involved, the forecast ranges from 3 to 5 days. The detainee is accused of dismissal from service, assault and resistance.
