Lexington crews battle a house fire early this morning

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Firefighters are still on the scene battling a fire Saturday morning.

The call came in just before 6 a.m. on Hazel Avenue, a couple of blocks from Richmond Road.

According to Lexington Fire, flames were visible from the home when crews arrived on scene.

No injuries have been reported at this time, and according to Lexington Fire, everyone inside the home has made it out safely.

Firefighters are still on the scene, confirming that the house is unoccupied and the fire is fully contained.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
