Ja’Marr Chase didn’t know the start time for the Bengals against the Eagles had changed

The Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, the NFL changed the kickoff time to afternoon.

Fortunately for star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, reporters asked him about the situation this week, otherwise he wouldn’t have known the game against the Philadelphia Eagles had been postponed.

“Wait, has this game been moved to 1pm?” Chase asked WCPO’s Caleb Noe. “I’m under a rock, bro… I didn’t know it. I don’t think anyone will tell me that either. But I don’t like this time because it’s too early in the morning for me to wake up.”

The The NFL moved the Eagles against the Bengals for several reasons.

For Chase, that means a worse overall prognosis when it comes to his sleep situation…but it sure beats finding out at the last minute that the game was a draw.
