Teen killed in Harlem shooting – NBC New York

A 16-year-old boy died after being shot in the chest in Harlem early Thursday, authorities said.

According to the NYPD, officers responding to a shooting call at 124th Street and Lenox Avenue encountered a fatally wounded teenager shortly before 2 a.m. He was identified as Clarence Jones.

Three shell casings were recovered.

According to police, the two male suspects fled westbound on 125th Street on Razor scooters. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
