Let the MACC investigate the whistleblower’s complaint

Another lawmaker said the MACC should investigate the claims of a whistleblower who allegedly has video evidence of a major corruption scandal in the state.

Bentong MP Yang Sifura Othman, also a member of one of MACC’s special advisory committees, said it was still early stages of speculation in the alleged corruption case, which was first reported by Malaysiakini yesterday.

“I am only asking the witnesses to heed MACC’s advice and file a formal complaint to be protected under the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010.
