The father of a missing teenager is pleading for his son’s case to remain a priority

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nearly nine months after Sebastian Rogers was last seen in Hendersonville, his father Seth says he never stopped looking for him.

Rogers, who was last seen on Stafford Court in Hendersonville on February 26, 2024, has since been reported missing.

“I refuse to let my son be thrown away like trash,” Seth Rogers said. “I’m sad, I’m angry, I’m disappointed, I’m hurt, but it doesn’t matter because I don’t know what my son is going through.”

Rogers says that despite all the ups and downs of his son’s case, she has been inundated with negativity from social media and other online platforms. He says that everything is taking away from the main priority of getting Sebastian home.

“My house is very, very quiet because my son is gone,” Rogers said. “I just want my son to be found and brought home.”

Although Seth has not given up hope, he feels that others are now treating his son’s case as less of a priority.

“They (investigators) haven’t come back and haven’t said anything to anybody since April,” Rogers said. “And if they’re actually talking to me, they’re actually going to have to answer their calls.”

Dog the Bounty Hunter recently joined the search for Sebastian, adding a hefty reward to help find the missing teenager.

Seth continues to bring attention to his son by holding prayer vigils and motorcycle rides to keep Sebastian’s name and face in the spotlight.

“If he sees it, son, I’m not going to stop,” Rogers said. “I’m going to keep looking for you until I find you. And if you see this, call me, you know my phone number, I won’t change it. And I love you.”

WSMV has reached out to both the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to let them know the status of the investigation, but has not heard back at this time.
