Coopersville wins first River Cities Alliance title over Cedar Springs

(WXMI) — Coopersville won its first River Cities Alliance title, defeating Cedar Springs 35-21. The Broncos took an early lead, marching right down the field on their own
opening drive and senior QB Bo Harris scoring on a four-yard touchdown run. Harris scored four touchdowns in the first half and went into halftime up 28-7.

In the second half, the Broncos added to the lead with Isaac Lemieux scoring on an 11-yard touchdown run. Cedar Spring took the lead, but Coopersville won 35-21.

Both teams will enter the Division 3 playoffs and see where they are headed Sunday during the MHSAA football qualifier.
