The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the December 10th and 12th exam date table on its official website. The schedule of practical exams has already been announced, with practical exams for most schools starting on January 1, 2025, and theoretical exams starting on February 15, 2025. However, in winter regions, practical exams will be held earlier, starting in November. 5 to 5 December 2024.

CBSE said that each subject will be evaluated out of 100 marks, distributing the marks between theory, practicals, projects and internal assessment. This schedule gives students enough time to prepare for theory exams starting February 15, 2025. Sample question papers for class 10 and 12 are also available on the CBSE academic portal (cbseacademic.nic.in), helping students understand the marking scheme, question types and exam format.

How to Download CBSE 10th, 12th Exam Date Sheet 2025

Registered students can easily access the official CBSE time table online by following these steps:

step 1: Go to the official website: cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the link to link to the 10th or 12th date sheet.

step 3: A date sheet will appear on the screen.

step 4: Check and download report card.

To facilitate the examination process for the winter schools, which will be closed in January 2025, CBSE has issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for conducting practical examinations, project work and internal assessment. The commission also provided a subject-wise breakdown of marks for classes 10 and 12, urging schools to follow the structure carefully as practical marks cannot be changed once submitted.

In addition, CBSE has published a detailed list of subjects for each grade, including subject codes, titles, maximum marks for theory and practical components, project marks, internal marks and required answer booklets for theory examinations. Schools are advised to familiarize themselves with these guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process and prevent any errors.
