Homicide detectives alerted to shooting incident in northeast D.C., officials say

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man was wounded in a shooting in northeast D.C. Thursday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers said they responded to the 600 block of Edgewood Street around 9:27 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers said they found the man “unconscious and not breathing.”
