Coronation Street confirms the passion for Cassie and Steve

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street confirmed a new romance for Cassie Plummer and Steve McDonald.

Earlier this year, Cassie started looking after Ken Barlow the following his falla close friendship developed between the pair.

Ken told Cassie about his recent £50,000 winnings, which he decided to spend on a holiday for the both of them.

There were some sparks between Cassie and Steve after she started working as a nanny, Amy noticed that her dad might have secret feelings for her, but he strongly denied his attraction.

In scenes scheduled for Sunday, October 27, Ken and Cassie plan their activities in Porto before going shopping for festive clothes. Jealous Steve is surprised to see Cassie looking adorable in her new jacket. These scenes are now available for streaming ITVX.

Next week, Cassie reveals that she is going on a date. However, Steve is unimpressed by the news of the man she is dating, leading Cassie to suspect that he is jealous.

When her date doesn’t go as planned, Steve arrives and takes her to the Rovers to boost her self-esteem. Will there be a spark between them?

At #1, Ken doesn’t know that Cassie and Steve spent the night together. Later, Adam arrives at the house and is shocked to learn that his dad paid for the airport lounge tickets and first class flights.

Adam tells Steve that he’s worried about where Ken is getting the money to pay for his and Cassie’s lavish life and fears that he’ll end up in debt.

The couple then agree that they will hold a family intervention when Ken and Cassie return from Porto. Will Ken finally tell his family about his prize winnings?
