Wagner’s youth pleads guilty to involuntary manslaughter

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — A Wagner teenager pleaded guilty Friday morning to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the 2023 stabbing death of a 16-year-old boy.

Gabe Montgomery, 16, entered his plea in Charles Meeks County Circuit Court, according to the SD Attorney General’s Office. His case was transferred to adult court in the spring of 2024.

Alcohol contributed to fatal crash on I-90 near Salem

The incident occurred on April 10, 2023, during a fight.

Montgomery will be sentenced on January 31
