Lamar Jackson vs. Joe Burrow head to head: Ravens QB holds significant advantage in AFC North rivalry

Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow put on a show in Week 5. What will they do to encore Thursday Night Football in Week 10?

Baltimore (6-3) is looking to create distance in the AFC North with rival Cincinnati (4-5), and the quarterbacks will meet just five weeks after the Ravens’ 41-38 overtime win at Paycor Stadium.

In that game, Jackson had 348 passing yards, 55 rushing yards and four TDs. Burrow had 392 passing yards, five TDs and an interception. Baltimore won the game, and those records are divisive in the discussion of the NFL’s most popular player up the middle. Jackson is the favorite. Barrow is playing at that level despite the Bengals’ lackluster first half, and both backs have the numbers to stay in this discussion.

Jackson could win the NFL MVP award for the second consecutive season. He has 2,379 yards, 20 TDs and two interceptions. He also has 505 yards and two TDs. Burrow has 2,244 yards passing with 20 TDs and two interceptions. He also has 117 rushing yards and a score.

But who has the upper hand in head-to-head matches between the two defenders? Here are the numbers, past matchups and the outlook for the next chapter of the Barrow-Jackson defensive rivalry.
