Toronto Police say officers responded to a call in the area of ​​Lansdowne Ave. and Bloor St. W. around 3:30 p.m., after a man was reported to have asked the teenager to take pictures of them and then directed the victim to the back yard. .

The victim felt uncomfortable and tried to leave but was attacked by the man, police said in a statement released Friday, adding that the young man suffered minor injuries but managed to escape.

Investigators have released an image of the suspect in hopes that someone will recognize him and come forward.

The suspect appears to be 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-10, with a thin build, short black hair and a scraggly beard. He was wearing a black jacket and dark sweatpants.

TWO SHOOTINGS UNDER INVESTIGATION IN HAMILTON

21-YEAR-OLD OAKVILLE MAN ACCUSED OF CHILD LUCK

A 21-year-old Oakville man has been charged following a child luring investigation that began in September.

Halton Regional Police say investigators identified the suspect and arrested him on October 18.

Patrick McCash is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and one count of enticing a child.

Investigators are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims, which is why photos of the accused have been released.

26-YEAR-OLD MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT IN NORTH YORK

A 26-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting him in North York last weekend.
