Lenoir County deputies arrested two on Rouse Path Road after a complaint

A complaint by a Lenoir County resident led to the arrest of two people Friday.

The arrests took place on Rouse’s Path Road in La Grange.

Marlton Perry Davenport, 53, of Nashville, North Carolina, had outstanding warrants from Nash County and was listed as a parolee from the same county, according to the report. Davenport was wanted in Nash County for obtaining property by false pretenses and possession of stolen property.

Davenport was booked into the Lenoir County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

La Grange resident Amber Bradshaw, 37, was arrested on a Lenoir County parole violation charge and held without bond.
