Two D.C. teenagers have been arrested for multiple carjackings in September

Two teenagers from the area were arrested and charged with carjacking.

Antonio Geyser, 16, of Southeast, D.C., and Derrick West, 17, of Northeast, D.C., were arrested Friday, Nov. 1, in connection with four separate carjackings this September.

These incidents include:

  • Theft of a vehicle between Tuesday, September 17 and 18, in the block of Burns Street, Northeast.
  • Armed carjacking Sept. 19 at 11th and K streets, NE.
  • Carjacking at knifepoint Sept. 20 in the 800 block of P Street, Northwest.
  • Unarmed carjacking Sept. 30 in the 100 block of 35th Street NE.

Geyser was charged with an additional carjacking that occurred Sept. 21 in the 800 block of Southern Avenue Southeast.

Additionally, Malcolm Demus, 31, of Southeast DC, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in connection with a carjacking on Burns Street.

Demus was arrested on two additional counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and one count of credit card fraud.

How he knew the boys and in what position he worked with them is currently unknown.
