MITCHELL — Photos from the scene of a fire caused by a property owner burning in a burn barrel when it tipped over, causing a fire Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, northwest of Mitchell.

No casualties have been reported. However, Mitchell Fire Department Battalion Chief Joe Dolezal said the shed that housed the boat was a total loss. Some old classic cars were also a loss.

Officials worked on the scene for more than an hour, and most of the fire was extinguished within an hour.
