The family of a seriously injured football star from New Jersey has set up a GoFundMe, detailing the accident

The family of the Whippany Park soccer girl who was seriously injured in a car accident created a GoFundMe page and detailed the injuries that hospitalized the high school student.

Molly Mack was injured two SUVs collided on Highway 24 in Morris County on Oct. 27, authorities said. The SUV that was hit rolled over and seriously injured the teenager, state police said. Mack is a team captain who is committed to High Point University.

Mack suffered “multiple neck fractures, spinal swelling, broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a broken arm,” according to the report. GoFundMe page founded by Jennifer Hamill Halles and Thomas Hamill – Mac’s aunt and uncle. According to the GoFundMe page, Mack underwent spinal fusion surgery after the accident to relieve pressure on her spine and stabilize her neck.
