A man has pleaded guilty to assaulting Green Party leader Roderick O’Gorman

A Dublin shopkeeper pleaded guilty to assaulting Green Party leader Roderick O’Gorman as he attacked him on a doorstep in Blanchardstown on Saturday.

Carl Ronan (45), of Erris Square, Waterville, Blanchardstown, was charged with assaulting Minister O’Gorman; using or engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior; and corrupt his clipboard.
