‘Penguin’ star Kristin Milioti reveals ‘most exciting’ scene to film

Kristin Milioti has a hard time watching herself on screen, but there’s one scene in The Penguin that she’s particularly proud of.

Milioti received universal praise for her performance in Penguinwith character Sofia Falcone is going through the most dramatic arc in series

As we near the end of the show’s first season, Miloti looks back on his work, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s hard for me to watch myself. I think a lot of actors think so. But I will say that there are definitely scenes that I’ve done that I’ve enjoyed.”

She also talks about the plot of the series in detail SPOILERS AHEAD…

The first of these moments occurs at the end Penguin Episode 4when Sofia addresses the rest of the Falcons at a family dinner and calls them out for ruining her life.

“I would say the dinner speech with my family and the aftermath, that whole sequence from the minute I walked into the dining room to the very end of the episode was very, very exciting.”

The second scene Episode 7 of the series “Penguin”.where Sophia threatens the orphan before realizing that she is turning into her father through this behavior.

“I remember reading that scene and thinking, ‘Oh my God!’ It’s such a brutal scene. But I was so excited about it and so moved by it; it’s so complicated.

“But of course that’s what this person would do. What’s also great about this scene is that she literally tries to burn her father’s legacy to the ground and says, “I’m nothing like him, he’s a monster,” and she does the same to this little girl. In a sense, she has condemned her to the same life, but she truly believes that she is doing this child a favor.

“She thinks she’s doing the right thing — ‘I’m saving you from something you don’t know about’ — by ruining this kid’s life.”
