In a confusing and disturbing case from Hyderabad, a woman filed a police complaint against her husband alleging forced marriage and harassment. The incident took a dramatic turn as the woman, who had recently returned from London, immediately went to the police station to report her complaints.

The woman, whose identity remains confidential, filed a complaint at Film Nagar police station detailing the horrific series of events. She claimed that she was subjected to coercion and extortion by her husband, whom she first met through social media. Their relationship, which began with promises of marriage, quickly soured when the accused began demanding money. In a desperate act of support, the woman reportedly gave him jewelery worth Rs 10 lakh, intending to help him financially.

However, the situation escalated when the man began to distance himself from her. Alarmingly, he allegedly resorted to blackmail by threatening to share her private photos and videos online if she did not comply with his demands. Under immense pressure, the woman felt compelled to marry him in a private ceremony conducted by the Arya Samaj.

After the secret marriage, the couple traveled to the UK together, and the man obtained a dependent visa. Unfortunately, when they arrived in the UK, the woman stated that her husband’s behavior had become abusive, both physically and emotionally.

The police have registered her statement and are currently investigating the case.
