Suffolk police investigators discover murder on Railroad Avenue – The Suffolk News-Herald

The Suffolk Police Investigation Unit found a homicide on Railroad Avenue

The Suffolk Police Department is currently investigating the death of 64-year-old Timothy Jerome Everett as a homicide. Everett’s body was found on September 18, 2024 at approximately 4:25 pm in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue. The cause of death was initially unknown. However, after additional investigation, the police qualified the case as an intentional murder.

The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation. Anyone with information about Everett’s death is asked to contact police. Police are asking anyone who has had recent contact with Everett to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
