Work on the Loe Wall to close roads for seven weeks

The main road into Cornwall and a nearby road will be closed for seven weeks while the wall works.

Cornwall Council said wall stabilization work off Polperro Road in West Loo will start on Monday and run until December 20.

The council said the work must be completed after a landslide on the road earlier this year and the closure will also affect Northern Road during the same time period.

A detour has been created around the closures and school buses will still have access to the route at certain times of the day, the council added.
