Durham Hospice has donated a garden to Chelsea Flower Show 2025

John Eggleston, a volunteer gardener at the facility, said he knew it would “mean a lot to the people here.”

Mr Eggleston, who has worked at St Cuthbert’s for the past 13 years, said: “We are all absolutely delighted and it will be a real pleasure to help maintain this special garden.”

The space will be accessible for both wheelchairs and hospice beds.
