Gurugram:

Gurugram police have booked gangster Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, for allegedly threatening Bhim Sena chief Satpal Tanwar from abroad, an officer said on Sunday.

Anmol is accused of making threatening calls from the US and Canada using numbers from Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Following the complaint, the police formed a team of STF members and several crime and cyber crime branches to investigate.

The officer said efforts are on to bring Anmol Bishnoi to India.

According to the complaint, Bhim Sena chief Satpal Tanwar received several calls from Anmol Bishnoi on October 30 threatening to cut him into pieces.

In total, the phone calls lasted 6 minutes and 41 seconds and were answered by secretary Satpal Tanwar.

Police arrested Anmol Bishnoi from the BNS office in Sector 37 on Saturday.

Anmol Bishnoi is said to be hiding in the US and has a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information leading to his arrest, the National Investigation Agency has announced.
