A Greenville man is helping to donate to the people of Western Carolina

A man from Greenville came to the aid of those in need in Western Carolina. Sean Hendricks says a friend called him a few weeks ago to say they were having trouble getting Starlink satellites into the region.

He turned to them and said he could help get them there. In the past three weeks, Hendricks has helped deliver and configure more than 60 Starlink Internet devices for the region, and he’s not stopping there. He is also currently collecting food, clothing and other donations for those affected by Helen.

Right now, he says, families especially need help with shelter. Hendricks says one person donated an entire camper for the family.
