A husband asks how to help his teacher wife who is losing her mind

Despite problems with student behavior and demanding administration, his wife does not want to try a new job.

“She has studied endlessly and is fully certified as a primary school teacher,” he explained. “And now only a few years of work, she doesn’t like it very much.”

“We floated the idea of her becoming a tutor, but she didn’t like the idea of working evenings and weekends instead of a regular day,” he shared.

“Has anyone had this problem?” he asked. “I know that many teachers are frustrated with their work. Many teachers are being fired en masse. She doesn’t want to give up because it is her only occupation.’

This couple would do well to remember that, as it sounded like the husband’s wife was not teaching for long. Maybe she would get used to him more if she stayed with him longer.
