One fatality in pursuit of Dothan, crash – hassteveclarkresignedyet

DOTAN, Ala. (WTVY) – One person was killed early this morning in Dothan, according to law enforcement sources.

Law enforcement received a call about a possible carjacking early Sunday morning near Ross Clark Circle.

They tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled, prompting law enforcement officers to chase.

The chase ended when the driver left the road and crashed, killing the driver.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd confirmed the death to News4. The victim’s name will be released once next of kin have been notified.
