A special group was formed to investigate the theft and develop a comprehensive action plan. They collected important evidence and began searching for the suspect. RAK police have identified a thief involved in multiple thefts as an Asian resident.

During interrogation by the police, the suspect admitted that he broke the windows of the car and stole valuable things. After that, he was handed over to the prosecutor’s office for further court proceedings.

The person who posted the video of the stolen cars on social networks was also detained and will be handed over to the prosecutor’s office. According to the police, the distribution of such content could adversely affect ongoing investigations and court proceedings and allow other criminals to avoid arrest.

Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Naimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, praised the work of the Vigilance Department, which led to the swift arrest of the thief responsible for stealing items from vehicles.

He stressed that the police will remain vigilant in ensuring the safety of citizens and residents, as well as protecting their property from anyone who tries to interfere or disturb it.
