Nakuru: Tearful mother pleads for help to reunite with child stolen by unknown woman

Maureen Gezare is asking for help to find her nine-month-old baby, who was stolen from their home in the Ronda area. Nakuru.

The 18-year-old girl told how she woke up and was getting ready for her day on the morning of the incident.

In an emotional video on MtaaWangu, she shared how she watched her baby drift off and on.

Until then, she had no idea that it would be the last day she would see her child.

“My baby was still in bed and I was getting dressed as usual, getting ready for work,” she said, describing the surreal moments before leaving the house.

Thinking her baby would be safe at home, Maureen asked her sister to watch the baby while she went to work.

Unfortunately, her hopes were dashed when an unknown woman entered their home, took the child and disappeared without a trace.

Her life was turned upside down when she returned home to find the little one missing.

“I thought my baby would fall back asleep while I was gone,” Maureen explained, her voice filled with pain. “I never imagined that something like this could happen to me.”

She asked around and was told that a stranger had been seen at a local diner with a child.

However, none of them could explain where the strange woman went after buying chips.

As the hours passed, concern turned to panic, prompting Maureen to file a report with local authorities.

Now she is desperately appealing to the public to help find her child and bring the abuser to justice.

“I just want my baby back,” she declared. “I’m asking anyone who saw anything to come forward and help us.”
