James Haskell demanded his estranged wife, Chloe Madleywas “groped” by the famous rugby star when he was just yards away from her.

The former England international, 39, and the fitness guru, 37, have been together for more than 10 years and married five years ago announcing their divorce in October 2023.

While neither of them elaborated on the reasons for their split, Haskell did share some insight into their marriage and one particularly troubling situation they allegedly had to deal with during a night at London club.

Opening his new book The Good, the Bad and the Rugby, the star claimed that Medley was “groped” by a famous rugby player, who he did not name, while another allegedly drunkenly solicited her.

“Recently I received a phone call from a supposedly great rugby player who was up to all sorts of mischief in a notoriously hedonistic European capital,” he wrote in the book.

Sun Haskell continued: “But I wasn’t surprised at all because the same guy proposed to Chloe a few years ago when I was DJing a few feet away and his teammate, another supposedly clean rugby player, groped her p** there are.’

The book goes on to quote a source who was at the club during the alleged incident as saying, “Chloe was the only girl present when it happened. She was shocked but didn’t make a big deal out of it. There was a lot to drink. She and James left right after that.”

Haskell, who played for England in 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cupdid not directly name the rugby players who are probably involved in the incident.

His comments are included in his recently released book, which he co-authored Mike Tyndall and Alex Payne.

Fitness trainer, daughter Good morning, Britain host Richard Madley and former This morning star Judy Finnigan first started dating Haskell in 2015 and married in 2018.

After their daughter Bohdi was born in August 2022, their marriage seemed to have reached a breaking point. A little more than a year later, the couple broke up, but continued to live together until this summer.

Speaking about their split for the first time in January during an appearance on Loose Women, Madeleine had nothing but kind words to say about her estranged husband and admitted they get on better apart than when they were romantically involved.

“Now that they’re not romantically involved,” she admitted.

“I’m happier now than I’ve ever been, I wish people would stop writing on the internet that James is offended because he’s not, he’s happy too.

“Again, can we just stop making so much drama out of it, we’re both happy.

“I’m happier than ever, I’m full of energy I feel like I have rocket fuel every day.

“It’s crazy that I didn’t realize that happiness and energy were connected, but apparently they are.”

The ex-spouses continue to be co-parents and remain close friends.

Underground has reached out to representatives for Madeley and Haskell for comment.
