Joanna and Esther bond over a basketball game hosted by their notables Nobody wants that It seemed like a party for us, and a star Jackie Ton shares how it was to shoot.

In the Joan scene (Kristen Bell) tries to make friends with Esther (Thon) as they have a relationship with a pair of brothers. However, according to Ton, the women did not actually drink alcohol during filming.

“No, we’d be wasted and have massive headaches,” Ton, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, October 30. “We’ve been cracking anything that’s like tequila, or water, or they often use iced tea (or) Crystal Light.”

“She is so sweet; she is the best It always makes me giggle when people think about it I am sharp, mouthy the two of us, said Ton us “I’m not going to be best friends for 20 years with a sensitive person. She likes roast, she likes to make fun of me. It’s fun and easy (to work together). It’s like any acting where you’re in a scene with your co-star and you have to pretend you don’t like someone. It’s not that hard.”

The screen party during the basketball game worked out well for Joan and Morgan as they won over Esther and her friends, which also helped her relationship with Noah. Their romance, however, was cut short when Joanne asked if she wanted to convert to Judaism for Noah, but the pair resolved their issues by the end of the finale.

“I don’t think it’s going to be easy, but I think they’re going to have a relationship,” Thon theorized on Wednesday. “I think because Season 1 is so fabulous, they’re probably going to do a more real relationship. I mean, they kind of did it by getting a “bump” and she just said, “It can’t work.” What are we doing?’ But maybe just more relationships. I mean, we’ll see.”

Foster, whose own marriage with Simon Tikhman inspired Nobody wants that scenariocurrently writing season 2.

“I just think the stories will expand and I’ll leave it up to our brilliant writers to tell us where it goes,” Thon teased. “We will see. We love dramas!”

Meanwhile, Ton is — just like us — obsessed with the entire first season, including Joan and Noah a swoon-worthy first kiss.

“We did a screening of (the first two episodes) … and we were sliding off our chairs,” Ton recalls. “I mean, it’s like, ‘Are you kidding me? What’s the deal? I don’t even understand.” KB talks about grabbing the face and grabbing the neck and wow!”
