J&K: Grenade blast at ‘Sunday Bazaar’ in Srinagar injures 10; The search for the perpetrators is ongoing

At least 10 people were injured after terrorists threw a grenade at a flea market near the Tourist Visitor Center in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday (November 3), India Today reported.

The explosion occurred in the midst of a large crowd of shoppers who had gathered for the weekly “Sunday Market”. Employees of the security service and medical teams promptly arrived at the scene and provided assistance to the victims, who were then taken to the nearest hospital. Search operations are currently underway to identify the perpetrators.

The incident followed the killing of a senior Pakistani commander from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group by security forces in Srinagar’s Hanyar area just a day earlier, news agency PTI reported.
