ITBP announces 526 SI, Constable vacancies; men, women can apply from November 15

ITBP SI, Constable Recruitment 2024: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBPF) has published a brief notification for the recruitment of 526 Deputy Inspector, Head Constable and Constable (Telecom) vacancies. Detailed advertisement will be released soon on ITBP recruitment portal recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

Program window for ITBP SI and Constable (Telecom) Recruitment 2024 will start on 15th November and end on 14th December.

Both male and female can apply for these SI (Group B) and Constable, Head Constable (Group C) vacancies. Recruitment will be on a temporary basis.

Here is the distribution of vacancies by article and post –

Sub-inspector (telecommunications): 92 vacancies (78 men and 14 women)

Chief Constable (Telecommunications): 383 Vacancies (325 Male and 58 Female)

Constable (Telecommunications): 51 Vacancies (44 Male and 7 Female)

In addition, 10 percent of the vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). If vacancies reserved for ESM candidates remain unfilled due to lack of suitable candidates, they will be filled by non-ESM candidates, ITBP said

For SI posts, age of applicants should be between 20 to 25 years. For Head Constable age limit should be 18 to 25 years and for Havaldar posts candidates age should be between 18 to 23 years. The final date for determining the age limit will be mentioned in the detailed notification.

Salary matrix: For SI posts it is like this ₹35400-112400 (level 6). For the Chief Constable it is ₹From 25,500 to 81,100 (level 4), and for Constable – from 21,700 to 69,100 (level 3).

The cost of the application is ₹200 for SI and ₹100 for Constable, Head Constable Vacancies. Women, ex-servicemen, SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment of admission fee.
