According to TOI, Vijay Verma, a resident of Mannapurva, kept 250 grams of potatoes that he was going to cook. When he returned a short time later, he found that the potatoes were gone, prompting him to go to the emergency room for a thorough examination. When the police arrived at Verma’s home, they found that the “theft” involved only 250 grams of potatoes.

Responding officers recorded a brief 5-second video of their conversation with Verma, who firmly said, “This is something that needs to be investigated.” When asked if he had been drinking, Verma admitted that he had been, saying, “Yes, I work hard all day and drink a little in the evening. But it’s not about the alcohol; it’s about the missing potato.”

In a separate bizarre incident in the village of Singanapalle, Andhra Pradesh, a video has emerged showing a drunken truck driver narrowly avoiding a dangerous encounter with a python. It is reported that the driver consumed a significant amount of alcohol after a long day at work. Too drunk to get home, he collapsed on a nearby platform and fell asleep.

Unaware of the danger, the driver approached a large python that slipped out of the nearby forest and coiled around him. The undated video shows the python resting on the driver’s neck until he notices it in a drunken state. Concerned local residents quickly came to his aid, managing to free him from the snake’s embrace.
