Two gunmen opened fire on a crowd during a candlelight vigil for a 13-year-old subway surfing victim – underscoring a month that has seen a tragic trend of duel teenagers being shot and killed while surfing the subway.

Around 9:15 p.m. on October 27, two men shot at a memorial in Ridgewood, Queens Adolfo Sanabria Sorzano at Fairview and Putnam avenues, The Post reported.

No one was hurt.

“At this time, it is believed to be a targeted incident,” a police official wrote in an email to other police officers and city officials on Monday.

According to police sources, four shell casings were recovered.

According to the police, the shooting occurred against the backdrop of a surge in youth violence in the city, which has left at least five teenagers fatally injured since October 24.

Police did not comment on the violence during the vigil.

Sorzano died while surfing the subway on the M train near the Forest Hills station shortly before 10 p.m. on Oct. 23 in a stunt that officials linked to social media.

His mother, Milena Sorzano, a recently arrived immigrant, posted a message GoFundMe.com that her son was doing the TikTok challenge.

“It is with a broken heart that I am asking for your support at this painful time,” she wrote on the website to raise money for her child’s funeral.

His dad Adolfo Sanabria begged other teens not to pull the stunt, which has killed six teens this year — a devastating toll that has already surpassed the five-death mark in 2023 and prompted frequent public announcements on trains.

“Please don’t go (on) the subway. Please think of the pain this will cause your parents,” said the grieving father.

Last weekend, a A 13-year-old girl died and her 14-year-old friend were injured while surfing the subway.
