• A policeman in the state of Arkansas hit a motorcyclist who was actively fleeing from a traffic stop.
  • The driver was knocked off the bike, but he was not injured and was taken to prison.
  • He now faces several serious charges in connection with the high-speed chase.

Motorcycles can sometimes turn out to be kryptonite police who try to persecute them. In Arkansas, officers who get close enough to end a bike chase waste no time. Now we have proof of just that when an ASP officer crashes a motorcyclist after a high-speed chase.

It all started when Trooper Tanner Seale was standing on the side of US Highway 78 when a motorcyclist passed him. According to the message in video In the description below, Seale allegedly clocked a motorcyclist going 80 mph (129 km/h) in a 60 mph (97 km/h) zone. As such, Seal gave chase to stop the traffic.

Apparently the driver had other ideas because he went full throttle before stopping. The seal gave chase, but the rider managed to create a huge gap on the cruiser. Despite this, Seal managed to catch up to him for a moment before the rider hit him again. “He’s playing games with me,” Seale told the dispatcher. During the chase, the pair of cars exceeded 100 mph (161 km/h) several times.

Seal obviously wasn’t going to let the rider do that again if he could get close enough. Seconds later, the driver slows down for a turn, and as he turns, Seal hits him and the motorcycle at approximately 30 mph (48 km/h). The rider, reportedly named Michael E., fell from the bike and initially tried to get back on his feet before Seale and another police officer arrived to arrest him.

According to the report, he had no warrants or any other compelling reason to run. Although he received a long list of charges as a result of the run. This includes fleeing, driving without a license, improper use of a turn signal, improper lane change, driving without insurance, and reckless driving. Let it be known that the police in Arkansas will be aggressive if they see fit. They are so willing to do something that sometimes not the right person at all.
