The OPP are investigating a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Midland on Saturday that left one driver dead.

According to police, the incident happened on William Street at around 4.30pm on Saturday. Simcoe County Paramedics and Southern Georgian Bay OPP officers responded to the scene.

Police say the 37-year-old driver of the motorcycle, from Midland, was checked out at the scene and taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
