A man was stabbed outside the Echo Park Echoplex

LOS ANGELES – On Saturday, the police are checking a fatal stabbing in front of the Echoplex live music venue Echo Park.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 2:15 a.m. to 1822 Sunset Blvd. near Glendale Blvd. for a person who had been stabbed. When they arrived, officers found a man in his 30s with multiple stab wounds, an LAPD spokesperson told City News Service.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene Los Angeles Fire Department staff

There is no description of the suspect, the investigation is ongoing.
