Dust and screams after a Lebanese rocket hit a house in central Israel, 11 injured | N18G

Rockets fired from Lebanon injured 11 people in central Israel after one hit a house on Saturday (November 2nd), Israeli emergency services said, as prospects for a ceasefire worsened. An eyewitness and resident of Thira said it was a miracle that no one was killed. “We came out and saw dust, children screaming, women screaming, and everyone went to the house that was affected,” said Qasim Mohab, a resident of Tira. The Israeli Ambulance Service reported that 11 people were injured by shrapnel. Air raid sirens continue to sound in northern Israel as rocket fire from Lebanon continues, the military said.
